This year started with devastating bushfires that wiped out wildlife, destroyed homes and took lives.
Then, a crisis in the shape of a global pandemic hit us in a way most of us have never experienced. Strict lockdowns prevented us from seeing our families and friends, and forced us to work from home and find new ways of doing business.
Life has been tough this year, but the challenges we’ve faced have given the team at Inspireworks a new appreciation for what we do: helping people feel connected through better communication.
Everyone has felt isolated and detached but having a range of digital tools at our disposal has helped us bring people together. Our clients have been able to share stories, reveal their true emotions and show vulnerability.
Through live streaming and pre-recorded communications, we’ve helped our clients reach out to their communities and demonstrate compassion – even if it couldn’t be in person.
The way we communicate has changed for good this year, and that’s because we have a deeper understanding of one another. We’ve learned how to be resilient. We’ve learned how to adapt to challenging circumstances. We’ve learned to listen and look beyond the surface.
One of our proudest achievements in 2020 has been helping our clients let their communities know how much they matter through sincere video communication. Our clients have reminded us that we are one big community, and because of that, we’ve learned how to better understand each other on a human level.
We’ve loved seeing our clients transform and embrace a new way of life. Earlier this year, we filmed a CEO who shared how this year has taught him to become a better father to his three children. He saw an opportunity to break away from the day-to-day of running a business and focus on what is meaningful to him.
Through him and our many other clients, we’ve been able to tell stories that inspire people, provide hope and celebrate what makes us great.
We’re also proud to celebrate some of our own wins this year, too.
Katherine Ivy joined the team and helped us create stronger relationships with our clients. We launched our new website, won a couple of grants and reinvested in the growth of our business through marketing. We started working with a consultant who’s given us guidance to expand the business. And we successfully launched our live streaming service in the middle of a pandemic.
Through all the ups and downs, 2020 has shown us and our clients that our potential knows no limits when it comes to inspiring others.
So, from the team here at Inspireworks, we want to say thank you.
Thank you for having the courage to embrace the challenges this year has brought.
And thank you for sharing your true colours with the world.
We’ve learned a lot about the way we do business this year, but all of you have also helped us learn a lot about ourselves.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Regards,
Jonathan Zoch.
